The second Green Ammonia Technology and Market Forum, hosted by Asia Chemical Consulting, will be held in Ordos on June 15, 2023. In the afternoon on April 6, under the witness of Xi Jinping, president of PRC, and Emmanuel Macron, president of France, CHN ENERGY and FDR FRANCE singed a cooperation agreement, showing that the two sides plan to jointly build a demonstration project of "wind- solar-hydrogen storage" integrated project on an island in Dongtai, Jiangsu, with a total planned installed capacity of 1.5 million kilowatts. They will actively reach specific cooperative investment opportunities for third-party market renewable energy projects.
In recent years, CHN ENERGY and FDR FRANCE have carried out effective cooperation. In 2021, the first Sino foreign joint venture offshore wind power project in China was completed - the Jiangsu Dongtai offshore wind power project, with a total installed capacity of 500000 kilowatts and a total investment of approximately RMB 8 billion. As of March 2023, the Dongtai offshore wind power project has supplied a total of 3.5 billion kilowatt hours of green electricity, making it one of the highest generating offshore wind power projects in China under the same conditions. It can meet the annual electricity demand of nearly 5 million residents. The project has applied multiple innovative technologies in design, equipment, and construction, making active explorations for the development of offshore wind power towards deep and distant seas, and has won the National High Quality Engineering Gold Award.
On the same day, Liu Guoyue attended the fifth meeting of the China France Entrepreneur Committee at the Great Hall of the People, giving a speech on "Jointly Responding to Global Challenges, Cooperating to Promote Prosperity and Development".
