CEEC's Integrated Energy Project Officially Kicks Off

Recently, the construction of Songyuan Hydrogen Industry Park, known as an integrated energy project and invested by CEEC (China Energy Engineering Corporation) with a total amount of 29.6 billion yuan, has officially kicked off.
This commencement of construction is a powerful measure for CEEC to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, serve the national strategy, promote the achievement of the "dual carbon" goals, and accelerate the construction of a new development pattern.
The project plans to produce 110,000 tons of green hydrogen and 600,000 tons of green ammonia/alcohol annually, with supporting construction of electrolytic cell equipment manufacturing production lines and comprehensive energy stations. A hydrogen energy research institute will be established, covering the entire industrial chain of hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, hydrogen transportation, hydrogenation, hydrogen chemical industry, and hydrogen equipment. After the completion of the project, it will further promote the large-scale development of renewable energy hydrogen production and green hydrogen based chemical industry, and assist in the low-carbon transformation of the industry.
The construction content of the first phase of the project includes: 800MW wind and photovoltaic new energy, an annual production of 45,000 tons of electrolytic water hydrogen production unit, a 200,000 ton flexible synthetic ammonia unit, and a 20,000 ton green methanol unit.
The Songyuan project adopts multiple globally leading technologies, including integrated matching technology of wind, solar, hydrogen, ammonia, and alcohol, multi stable flexible synthesis ammonia technology, CO2+H2 production of green methanol technology, zero carbon emission centralized heating technology, etc., to achieve deep integration development of new energy electricity and chemical industry, promote local consumption and high value-added conversion of renewable energy, and build a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system, To provide a continuous source of green energy for promoting sustainable economic and social development.
The Songyuan project is based on the medium and long-term development plan of Jilin Province, taking the "North China Hydrogen Valley" and "Land Scenery Three Gorges" as development opportunities. Under the guidance of China Energy Construction Corporation's deep implementation of the "Four Revolutions and One Cooperation" energy security new strategy, China Energy Construction Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd. actively implements China Energy Construction Corporation's "30.60" system solution "One Center" and hydrogen energy An important measure of the development strategy of "two support points" for energy storage.
After the comprehensive completion of the project, it is of great significance to promote the construction of a national level renewable energy hydrogen production scale supply base and a diversified green hydrogen based chemical demonstration base in western Jilin.
