On July 30, Zhonglin International Group, as a member of the board of directors of the Guangzhou Hydrogen Industry Development Association, was invited to attend the press conference on hydrogen industry development planning held in Guangzhou. Lin Jinmeng, President of Zhonglin International Group, attended the event. At the press conference, the "Guangzhou Hydrogen Industry Development Plan (2019-2030)" was interpreted by related department, and the unveiling ceremony of the Guangzhou Hydrogen Industry Development Association and the appointment ceremony of experts from the Guangzhou Hydrogen Energy Expert Committee were held.
Chen Jianrong, Executive Deputy Director of the Dawan District Office and Deputy Director of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission of Guangzhou, introduced that Guangzhou's hydrogen energy planning focuses more on how to introduce hydrogen energy into the energy system of Guangzhou. This is the first time in China that hydrogen energy industry development is planned from an energy perspective, in order to achieve energy structure optimization and upgrading and system transformation. From this perspective, it reflects the forward-looking development of Guangzhou's hydrogen energy industry. At the same time, it is proposed in the plan to organically combine the hydrogen energy industry with traditional industries, relying on Guangzhou's existing traditional advantageous industries such as petrochemicals, automobile manufacturing, and power and heat supply to develop hydrogen energy, thereby driving the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
The Guangzhou Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Plan mainly includes seven parts: development foundation, development situation, industry chain analysis, overall requirements, planning layout, key tasks, and guarantee measures. The development positioning of building Guangzhou into a hydrogen research and development design center, equipment manufacturing center, inspection and testing center, market operation center, and international exchange center in the Greater Bay Area has been clarified. Plan to complete the layout of key enterprises in the hydrogen energy industry chain by 2022, with an expected output value of over 20 billion yuan; By 2025, a preliminary hydrogen energy industry chain will be established, with an expected output value of over 60 billion yuan; By 2030, a hydrogen energy industry system will be established, with an expected output value of over 200 billion yuan. We will focus on building an industrial layout with one core, one hub, and three bases, with a focus on building the Huangpu Hydrogen Energy Industry Innovation Core Area, Nansha Hydrogen Energy Industry Hub, Panyu Passenger Vehicle Manufacturing and Distributed Power Generation Research and Development Base, Conghua Commercial Vehicle Production Base, and Baiyun Special Vehicle Production Base.
At present, Guangzhou has begun the construction of a hydrogen energy industry system. Gu Xiaobin, member of the Party Working Committee of Guangzhou Development Zone, said, "The Guangzhou Petrochemical 1500 ton/year Fuel Cell Hydrogen Supply Center project will be put into operation in August this year, and the future market will require a hydrogen production capacity of up to 20000 tons. At the same time, Hengyun Group and Sinopec Guangdong Petroleum Branch have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote the construction of 20" five in one "comprehensive energy stations, including oil, hydrogen, and electricity. In 2022, a hydrogen refueling station network covering the entire region will be formed."
Sun Yong, Deputy District Mayor of Nansha District, Guangzhou, introduced that Nansha District will leverage its comprehensive advantages in resources, manufacturing, logistics, ports, and other aspects to carry out application demonstrations such as hydrogen buses and hydrogen ports. Through top-level design efforts such as industrial planning and policy support, it will attract and encourage hydrogen related enterprises to settle in Nansha, continuously optimize hydrogen energy technology through application scenarios, and formulate corresponding technical standards, Utilizing the geographical advantage of Nansha District located in the geometric center of the Greater Bay Area, we will promote and export hydrogen energy technology to the outside world, in order to build a hub for the Nansha hydrogen energy industry.
The unveiling ceremony of the Guangzhou Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Association was also held at the press conference. The Association is voluntarily initiated and established by enterprises, institutions, and research institutions upstream and downstream of the hydrogen energy industry chain in Guangzhou. Its aim is to promote the synergy of government, industry, academia, research, and application, effectively promoting resource sharing and common development. Based in Guangzhou, the Association will be serving the Greater Bay Area, and is committed to building an ecological system for the healthy development of the hydrogen energy industry chain.
